Very nice. Clean, and very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Excellent!!!
I came as a coach party and as such I had buffet/carvery styled meal. I had made the hotel aware prior to my visit that I was a vegetarian and when I arrived at the carvery there was Turkey, gammon, potatoes, mushrooms and sprouts... I asked for the vegetarian option and the chef pointed to the 3 sides!! I ended up having to pay 15 for a chickpea curry (which in no way was worth 15). I didn't even get an apology, when I complained to the head waiter he said that the chef 'tries to cope with vegetarians' and that the mushrooms should have sufficed as a main meal. Awful service, customer service and value for money. In this day and age nobody has to cope with vegetarians!
Easy check in and out. Good facilities in room. Lost a star for the bed where we both fell towards the middle
Hotel modern and Clean. Receptionist was fabulous Thank you. Evening meal was bland very small potions , food was controlled. Bar man and Manager need to attend revised customer service course. Breakfast and staff fabulous.
Receptionist (in training) was excellent. Really polite warm and welcoming. Breakfast not served until 07:30, very late. Food was good but limited. No TV working from arrival to departure. Overall nice staff, shame about the hotel
