Great service, not enough staff!
Drove an hour round trip to catch the post office with some urgent post, as the post office is advertised as open till 10pm, attempted to phone them to tell them i was coming with urgent mail, but the advertised number went to royal mail and not the post office in question. Made it there for 9.45 to be told that they have already packed up the post office and that it is in the safe. After trying to explain that the letters are urgent, they said that there is nothing they can do, its in the safe and it is time-locked. With frustration i said they if they advertise being open till 10pm, it is reasonable to expect them to be open till 10pm. With that they said that i shouldn't expect them to be open at that time, and not many others are open either, and they have homes to go to!Really disappointed, if you want to close the post office at 9.30pm so you can go home at 10pm, have your opening hours till 9.30pm. For the sake of customers choosing your establishment, please do them the courtesy of being open for business when you advertise being open.
So slow in everything they do! you think if you had a huge line of people waiting to be served you would shout the person stacking the shelves to help? Or try and speed up serving people? No not that this place! If you want to pop in a place to get something, don't go here!!! service at its worst!
Convenient location but can get a little busy when the kids leave school.
What a waste of time this shop is. They have 'efficiently' decided to locate the post office in the shop, yet both operate different opening hours. Went in last week to post a letter and a parcel. -Queued up for stamp-was told, 'oh no, you can't buy a stamp here. you need the queue next along for the post office to get stamps'-get to front, 'i need a stamp for this letter and a Jiffy bag for this parcel'. -'oh, you can buy a stamp here, but you'll have to get back in the other queue for a jiffy bag'. WHAT?!Today:-'can i buy a stamp?'-'oh, only the shop is open. The post office isnt'-'all i want is a stamp. Can't you put it through the normal till, seen as the post office til is closed?'-'NO'Ridiculous.
